Class this week and beyond...

Well this week just like last week is going to be a little different!

As some of you may know, REVIEW for the Sophomores is this Tuesday. So that cuts into my day and your like a warm knife into a cold stick of butter.

So class will be very different this Tuesday.

I have REVIEW based tasks from 9AM-10:45AM another class at 11:30AM that will be brief and then REVIEW from 2:30-4:00.

So what I propose is opening all free time I have on Tuesday open to you so we can meet individually. It would be way too hard and far too many emails to each set a time but instead I would like each of you to come meet me at one of these below blocks of time to share with me where you are on your final project. Since REVIEW will be in our room lets meet in room 315.

Bring in brand boards, package mock ups and additional application mock ups...I want to see it all!

12:30-2:20PM

4:00-6:00PM

(In room 315!!!)

I believe Andrea mentioned to you on last Tuesday that I did in fact extend this projects due date. It had to be done.

The rest of the semester schedule looks like this:

- Tuesday, May 7th: Meet with Tad individually based on time blocks above

- Thursday, May 9th: Regular class in 203A at 9AM

-Tuesday, May 14th: Final project due and picked up

As we move forward on beverage packaging here is several vector bottle you can start from.

Think how you can develop and design what your bottles shape will be. The shape of things says a lot about a product.

EDITABLE NUTRITION FACT LABELS

Hey friends,

I found an editable PDF of various formats of nutrition fact labels.

Just download the file as a PDF, and open it in Illustrator. If you direct select the text, you should be able to edit the contents. Like I said, there are various formats; horizontal, vertical, formatted for small packages, etc.

Snow what.

Seems as if we have a little snow today.

As many of you I am sure have already heard all of campus is closed today with this light dusting we are getting.

So obviously we will not have class this morning.

For class on Tuesday, February 26th lets stick with the sign up times you signed up for todays class.

I think individual meetings will be good at this point.

Some of you were signed up in the afternoon, if that was the case you will need to be moved before 9am starting at 8:30am.

I think their was only 3-4 of you. Let me know.

For class on Tuesday you will need 2 fully mocked up concepts and a refined brand board based on our discussion last class.

I want you to think about how your brand can start to apply to these forms you have be exploring.

We will really need to kick it in gear these next two week.
